Time is just like money; very valuable and also very limited. While the number of hours you get in a day might be limited to 24, the number of tasks you can accomplish is unlimited and is up to you.   • Analyze how you currently manage your time

In order for you to know the way forward, you must look back. Keep a time log that details how you spend your time each day. Record this for at least a week and review it in order to determine how much you got done, which tasks are important to you, how much time you need for each task and so on.

  • Have clear priorities

You must be able to tell which tasks are important, which ones aren’t and which are the most urgent. Sometimes, the most important tasks are not urgent yet we let them take up so much time at the expense of those that have a shorter deadline. In order to prioritize, make a to-do list which has each task in order of its urgency from least to most.

  • Use planning tools

Examples of such tools are pocket diaries, notebooks, wall charts, computer programs, electronic planners and index cards.

  • Organize yourself

Disorganization is guaranteed to cause poor management of time. Have a system in place which allows you to handle information once. Try to write your custom essay.

  • Appropriately schedule your time

Always protect the time set aside for high priority activities. No matter how busy you are, make time for that which you feel is important.

  • Ask for help

Good time managers have learnt to delegate. Delegation allows you to free up more time for other tasks

This includes hobbies, friends and family. Manage your time in a way that these do not become a problem
